How to Calculate the Absence Duration of an Employee?

Step1: Go to Total Compensation > Basic > Write Formula 

Step2: Query for TEMPLATE_ABSENCE_DURATION (Description: formula template for absence duration calculation) , TYPE: QuickPaint.

 Step3: Click on Edit Button and copy the formula.

Step4: Create New Formula, BG_ABSENCE_DURATION (Description: Your Setup BG), TYPE: QuickPaint.

Step5: Click Edit, and Paste the Copied Codes here and Verify it.

In People Window  

Others > Absence >  Enter Actual Start Date and End, check the duration automatically calculated.

Changing Default National Address Styles in Oracle HRMS

National address styles, both international and local, are held and configured in the Personal Address Information and the Location Address Descriptive flexfields. You can configure these styles using the Descriptive Flexfield Segments window.

Steps for Implementation:

1. System Administrator -> Application -> Flexfield -> Descriptive -> Segments

2. In Title query for Location Address

3. Uncheck the Freeze Flexfield Definition check box.

4. Choose New from the File menu and Give your custom Location Name and Click on Segment

5. Enter the Number and Name and Select Value for Column from LOV.

6. Select a value from LOV for Value Sets. 

7. Predefined Value Sets are available.(Choose Accordingly)
